Coroico (1.700 m.), is a tropical small town where the controversial Coca leaf is grown as well as tropical plants and fruits such as citrus fruit, coffee and bananas. Coroico is the best known as a place to just chill and enjoy the sun, and go for a swim.
Departure from hotel at 09:00 by private jeep to Coroico, the pearl of the Yungas 3 hours drive down one of the most impressive routes in the world. You will undoubtedly enjoy the changing landscapes along the way from the high pass "La Cumbre" (4.800 m). The trip goes through Bolivia is diverse geological scenery in about 3 hours, crossing a mountain range of enormous masses of stone mountains are covered with a variety of vegetation arriving at Coroico.
After each curve, the landscape becomes greener, the air more humid and the breeze warmer... After having descended around 3500 meters, we arrive to Yolosa (1.100 m.a.s.l.). A big ascent of 7 km awaits us before we finally arrive to Coroico.
