Day 01: La Paz (3.600m) – Aucapata (2.850m): Leaving La Paz and passing the city of El Alto we will drive across the Altiplano (4000m), with views of the Cordillera Real and Lake Titikaka (3810m). We will pass many small villages as we drive through the Cordillera Muñecas. In this part of Bolivia the people speak Quechua. We will continue to follow the winding roads to the relaxing village of Aucapata. 6 to 7 hours.

Day 02: Aucapata – Iskanwaya (1450m): In the morning we will first visit the museum of Iskanwaya which is in the village itself. Here we will see rest of archeological sites that have been digged from the ruins. We will drive down to the rarely visited ruins of Iskanwaya.  6 to 7 hours. Night in a local accommodation.

Day 03: Aucapata – Sorata (2700m): Today we will drive to the village of Payayunga where we will need to cross the Rio Llica, following the winding roads we will pass cactus filled valleys. Just before Sorata we will have great views of Ancohuma (6427m) and Illampu (6356m). Arriving early afternoon in Sorata we have time to relax and explore the beautiful village.  7 hours driving. Night in a hotel.

Day 04: Sorata – La Paz: In the morning we can take a drive to the Gruta (Cave) de San Pedro and take a look inside. Later we can look around the quite village of Sorata. After lunch we will drive back across the Altiplano to La Paz. 4 - 5 hours.  Arrival to La Paz city and your hotel. End of services.
