ECOLOGICAL TPHE 01

Sillutinkara belongs to the Cotapata National park. Tropical forest on the east side of the Andean Cordillera in Bolivia. This trekking starts from an altitude of 3.500 m.  to 1.300 m.  For hundreds of years this Inka trail was covered by forest and ferns, between the cloud forest and rainforest ecosystem.  In this area you can find at least 400 species of birds, this trek is attractive for Photographers. it leads more comfortably through the valley without strong ascents nor descents. Nevertheless the dense vegetation is of impressing beauty this tropical forest on the east side of the Andean Cordillera in Bolivia.

PROGRAM

Day 01: La Paz city – Sandillani (3.650 m. – 1.700 m.) : In the morning departure from La Paz city,  Pick you up  from your Hotel, driving for two hours. We start the trek at 3.500 m. until to reach the Sandillani village at 1.700 m. and set up the tents. Trekking for 7 hours aprox.

Day 02: Sandillani –Chairo (1.700 m. – 1.500 m.): This day we will visit to the Japanese house living there, since 1955.  A trekking of three hour will be the end of this fantastic ecological tours ending in Chairo where we meet with our transport and back to La Paz city arrival to your hotel an end of our services.
