This group of mountains consists of 25 peaks which present different levels of ascending. Its most important summits are. North Chachacomani 6.325 m. South Chachacomani 6.095 m, Chearoco 6.127 m. Kelluani Pyramid 6.000 m. the Mt - Douglas Moore 5.843 m, this group of mountains also present many peaks which have not yet climbed.  Chearoco has very complicated glacier systems; it is very isolated and is rarely climbed. It seems to dominate the Altiplano and the valleys. As the crow flies, the distance between Chearoco and Chachacomani is 7 km.

Technical Difficulty: for climbers with considerable experience
PROGRAM

Day 01: La Paz city – Palca (4200m): We leave La Paz through the mountains by private vehicle, initially taking the route that takes to the Titicaca Lake. We enter into the Royal Mountain Range taking a highway that goes along the edge of the three magnificent lagoons (Kara Khota, Khotia, Janko Khota) and it crosses a pass at 4990m high. After 4 hours of route, se arrive to Lloco Lloconi (4.450m) to the base of the Jankho Lakaya Mountain. From there we walk 5 hours begins toward the valley of Palca where we set up our tents.

Day 02: Palca – Chiquini – Base camp (4.700m): After breakfast we approach to the base camp of Chearoco follows at the banks of the river Chiquini. Night camping.

Day 03: Base camp – High camp (5200m): The ascension to the high camp (5 hours) is made on a moraine, before arriving to the glacier of Chearoco. Night camping.

Day 04: High camp – Chearoco (6.127m): Early in the morning we start the ascension to the Chearoco, it is completed in 7 hours and it has some little technical passages due to the numerous existent cracks. We descend to the base camp to spend the night.

Day 05: Base camp – Palca: We descend to the valley of Palca, where we set up the tents.

Day 06: Palca – Lloco Lloconi – La Paz city: We leave Palca to Lloco Lloconi where it waits for us our vehicle to return to La Paz. Arrival to your hotel and en of our services.
